Dr. Suartz completed his medical degree at the Federal University of São Paulo (Brazil) and subsequently pursued residency training in General Surgery and Urology at the most competitive and prestigious university in Brazil, the University of São Paulo.
In 2022, he was appointed as a preceptor for the Urology Residents at the University of São Paulo, during which he received the institution’s Outstanding Young Urologist Award, the Oswaldo Cruz Award in Medical Education, and the Intuitive Certificate of Fellowship in Robotic Surgery.
In 2023, he undertook a research fellowship in Uro-Oncology at Université Paris Cité (Paris) for five months, followed by a clinical fellowship in Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Université Laval for one year.
Dr. Suartz is experienced in urologic cancer surgeries including: prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, testicular cancer, and penile cancer.
