Robotic Reconstruction
Post prostatectomy stenosis: Vesico-Urethral Anastomotic Stenosis (VUAS)
At Superior Urology Clinic, we provide robotic reconstruction for patients with persistent post prostatectomy stenosis. Dr. Shahrour is a known reconstructive urologist who is also an experienced robotic surgeon. We provide treatments for VUAS to render our patients to be catheter free.
Uretero-pelvic junction obstruction (UPJO)
For UPJO, we are glad to provide robotic pyeloplasty. With the introduction of the DaVinci robot, pyeloplasty became a much faster, and easier procedure that we offer our patients. very quick recovery from a procedure that helps protect the obstructed kidneys.
Ureteric stricture
Ureteric strictureWhen our patients suffer from ureteric strictures, they do not need to live with ureteric stents for the rest of their life. Robotic ureteric reconstruction is a formidable option that helps restore the continuity of the ureter and to have our patients living without further procedures or stents.
Robotic ureteric re-implantation or robotic buccal graft ureteroplasty (using a graft from the inside of the cheek to place it in the obstructed ureter) are some of the options used in our centre.
