What are VED?
These are external pumps. These pumps are placed on the penis and the vacuum is created manually or using a battery. A penile ring is placed at the base of the penis to help keep the erection.
What to watch out for?
extended palcement of the ring can cause pain/discomfort or extensive swelling of the penis. Patients can also find it hard to manipulate the device.
